Walking session experiencing the power of sacred Mt. Kurama
About session
We will arrange the walking course according to the fitness level of the session participants and their preferences.
Guided tours around the Kurama River and its tributary, the Kifune River, are available, as well as tours of special places known only to locals (* Consult with us separately).

Resonance Wellness-
The “Singing Ring” is an acoustic instrument developed by combining the Tibetan esoteric singing bowl and the Japanese Buddhist musical instrument, the rin, which can play “all overtones” from low to high frequencies.

It changes brain waves from beta to alpha and theta, and has the effect of balancing the right and left hemispheres of the brain,
It has been scientifically proven to improve the psychological state and concentration.
Also, by touching the vibration of the Singing Ring directly to the body,
it is said to have the effect of adjusting disharmony at the cellular level to normal functioning through resonance.

Inspired by the various ingredients, spices and the local cuisine while using special dishes,
and vessels that Taeko collected during her travels,
Cooking session to enjoy with all five senses (maximum 6 people), vegetarian or non-vegetarian

While noticing and celebrating the colors and shapes of the vegetables, experiment with special cutting methods and combinations, and enjoy the harmony of the seasonings.
Just like enjoying fashion, you will be able to enjoy cooking with “colors and accents”, and your standard dishes might to be transformed into completely different dishes
This is a lesson to learn by sight, smell and taste.
Ingredients are mainly organic and locally grown fresh vegetables from Ohara village.
After a guided, leisurely stroll through Ohara village, Kyoto, you can purchase your favorite vegetables at the Ohara market, Cooking lessons on how to use these vegetables are also available. (*Please consult with us separately).

Creative Wellness-The World of Kimono Materials
A session to create scarves, snoods (tubular scarves) or small bags,etc., using various kimono and other fabrics and sundries that Taeko has collected for over 40 years.
About session
Enjoy the unexpected combinations of materials and colors, actually touching the cloth with your hands and imagining the finished product.
Fulfilling use of time to concentrate with no time to think about anything else… Lose yourself in the creative process and have fun!
We will also get a glimpse of the craftsmen’s thoughts that go into the materials they use, such as old silk kimonos and handmade silk and wool yarns.
Play in another world away from the stresses of everyday life. All creations are completed on the same day and can be taken home.
